Like a mix of Tetsuo and Tokyo Gore Police. Very body horror heavy, fun focus on practical effects. It's a bit of a slow-burn, despite the quick physical excitement right from the start the actual story unfolds slowly. I did enjoy the idea of the premise (*spoilers*) which is that these alien parasites keep arriving on earth to take over...
