After Gordon Bombay's hockey comeback is cut short he is named coach of Team USA Hockey for the Junior Goodwill Games. Too repetitive and cringey for my liking. 'D2: The Mighty Ducks' takes a slightly different path than the original, but by the end it's basically the same film once more.
